Get the chance to see two on going excavations (on a barrow and a Mesolithic settlement) on the Heath. At 14:00 there will be a guided walk of the barrow cemetery on the Heath, lasting c. 1 1/2 hours. Petersfield Museum will have a handling table of objects from the Heath, and there will also be finds to examine at the excavations. The Museum will be putting on a hunt the barrow activity for children to get involved with too!
