The Romans are coming is a family event designed to stimulate interest in Roman archaeology and history. There will be a range of demonstrators representing Roman military, medicine, food, domestic life and textiles. There will be Roman activities including building a mosaic, crafts and an opportunity to try our portable archaeological site where you can find your own archaeological material. Entertainment including storytelling and refreshments will also be available throughout the day.
